Saturday Breakfast:
Yet another amazing breakfast at Kokomo's Coffee House and Cantina in Albany Creek.  The food and service here are just homely and welcoming.  I had the staple bacon, eggs, mushroom, grilled tomato and sausage, all washed down with the perfect coffee.

Saturday Lunch:
Out and about bed shopping, about the closest we could come to the right diet choice today was Nando's at Carseldine and what a great choice it turned out to be.  No, I didn't eat ALL of this, we ordered the "Two's A Party" platter to share and it was really tasty.  We had a quarer of a chicken, a tenderloin, a thigh fillet each, plus I was good and had the side salad, while Kathy had the perri perri chips.  Very nice indeed.

Saturday Dinner:
We decided to take the suggestion of my diagnostic team at Nutrition Diagnostics and try a French restaurant, of which they are few and far between in the suburbs, but we found Rhubarb Rhubarb in Wooloowin which seemed to have a menu that fit the profile and an excellent dinner.  A good choice it was too, with great food and service to follow.

We started with an entrĂ©e of braised Rabbit and lentil pie with pink peppercorn sauce.  Absolutely delicious.

Saturday Dinner: Pallet cleanse
A penny scoop of passion-fruit sorbet to cleanse the pallet.

Saturday Dinner: Main Course
A delightfully tender Lamb shank 'Kiev' with baby carrots, plus a mint and pea pure.

Saturday Dinner: Desert
A delicious Rhubarb and strawberry crumble with tiny little scoop of vanilla ice cream.  Naughty, but very nice.

Sunday Lunch:
Today, we were honored to be guests of my Great Aunty Hazel, one of the nicest lades this earth is still lucky enough to have around, for the celebration of her 100th Birthday.  I tried to chose the best meal options for me from the set menu which started off with an asparagas and cheese sauce Volvaunt.  Very tasty and no, I really don't miss the pastry any more, so in my opinion, it would have been nicer without it.

My main course consisted of some very crunchy carrots, a little broccoli, some mashed pumpkin and a tender breast of chicken with a lovely cheese and onion sauce.  Very tasty.

For desert (Owen will cringe) I was told it would be an insult if I didn't just have at least one small piece of cake to finish off with ...  so I did.  At least it was real cream, real strawberries and a small amount of very light sponge cake and grated chocolate on top.

Sunday Dinner:
I had better be good after that cake this afternoon, so straigt back to being good with some absoutely beautiful herb and mustard roast lamb, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, all drizzled in my wife's lovely homemade cheese sauce.  En excellent end to an excellent day.
