Tuesday 30 April 2013

Tuesday:
Week 44 Beginning Monday 29th April 2013:
Even after the blowout birthday cake weekend, I'm still holding steady at 158kgs this morning.  I do think it might be time to revisit the Nutrition Diagnostic's rule book on all things food though.  It is lucky for Owen that I came up with the idea of a Blog, rather than just photos, so he could teach you all "what not to do" live on a day by day basis ... isn't it Owen?

Tuesday Breakfast:
Bacon, mild sopressa salami, onion and tomato cooked in some tomato paste, with light and fluffy double cream and eschallots scrambled eggs.

Tuesday Lunch:
Tasty bolognaise mince with prosciutto, onion, tomato, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and a little Australian smoked cheese.

Tuesday Dinner:
Some very juicy lemon herb chicken, with a nice lettuce, tomato, eschallot and avocado salad with balsamic dressing.

Monday 29th April 2013
A special tribute to a very much loved member of our family.
R.I.P. Mika Gardiner

Today is a very sad day for Kathy and I
... as we mourn the loss of our very much loved Maltese Mother, Mika.

Unfortunately, she gulped down a round, disc like dog treat given to her at bed time, which tore a hole in her oesophagus and caused other irreparable internal damage.

She never came out of aesthetic and passed away today.

Mika was a couple of weeks away from her twelfth birthday.

We will miss her very much.
